Carry the encounter into the walk

Grace entrusted to us is meant to benefit others. This study invites sober attention to what God has already placed within reach, without equating every talent, interest or need with a divine assignment.

Guided study

From encounter to government

1 Corinthians 12:4–7 KJV; Romans 12:3–8 KJV; 1 Peter 4:10–11 KJV; Exodus 4:1–2 KJV

Entrusted grace becomes useful service

Read 1 Corinthians 12:4–7. Notice the same Spirit, the same Lord, and the same God amid differing gifts, administrations and operations. Consider how verse 7 directs benefit beyond the recipient.

Read Romans 12:3–8 and 1 Peter 4:10–11. Test your understanding through Scripture, prayer, wise counsel, character and actual fruit. Ability does not obligate you to accept every request; capacity and boundaries belong within faithful stewardship.

Grace entrusted to us is meant to benefit others.

Pause and answer honestly

Let the Word examine the walk

  1. What has God already entrusted to you that you keep minimizing because it does not look impressive enough?
  2. Where might comparison or a need for recognition obscure faithful service?
