The Spirit Exposes Self · When Self Learns Church Language

The teaching burden

The Holy Ghost does not merely confront behavior. He reaches beneath it and exposes what is secretly driving it, so hidden motives no longer have to govern the person.

Truth to carry
The Spirit who came to glorify Jesus will eventually confront every place in me that is trying to glorify me.

What this teaching confronts

  1. 01

Self can learn church vocabulary and hide behind words believers trust.

  2. 02

The question must move from “What did I do?” to “What inside me needed to do it?”

  3. 03

    Conviction is not divine humiliation.

  4. 04

The Holy Ghost exposes what is governing us so it does not have to keep governing us.

Self-examination

If nobody ever knew I did this, would I still want to do it?

Ask the Holy Ghost to search you without shaming you, expose what is governing you, heal what is wounded, and make Jesus greater than the need to be seen.

Wake and Receive · September 2026
