Stop Making Him Repeat Himself

Prompt Obedience, Spiritual Sensitivity, and Becoming Trustworthy With Assignment

The teaching burden

Walking in the Spirit is accumulated obedience. Every response trains something within us: repeated obedience practices responsiveness, while repeated rationalization practices resistance.

Truth to carry
God does not merely entrust assignment to people who can hear. Greater weight requires people who are increasingly governable.

Formation movements

What this teaching confronts

  1. 01

God may give enough information for dependence without giving enough for independence.

  2. 02

Spirit-led living can mean go, stop, wait, turn, speak, apologize, release, remain, or leave.

  3. 03

Prompt obedience is not reckless movement.

  4. 04

Greater assignment grows from repeated, responsible responsiveness.

Self-examination

What instruction have I been repeatedly asking God to reconfirm because I do not like what obedience will cost?

Name one area of government, one decision, one relationship, one delayed yes, and one next step you will take within seven days.
